What is a postpartum doula and what do they do?

A postpartum doula is the modern form of a village helping mom shortly after she gives birth. A professional support person to help mom, baby, and the family. Whether this is your first baby or sixth baby, everyone can use a little extra help. I am available as soon as you get settled in at home until you feel you no longer need my services. I help with breastfeeding support, emotional and physical recovery after birth, assist with newborn and sibling care. I can run errands and do light housekeeping and cooking as well. My job is to take care of mom and making her life easier so she can focus on taking care of the baby.
